Municipal Water Only

The UC-200 is specifically designed for municipal water and should not be used with well water. It is a high-quality water purifier that does not soften water, nor does it resolve issues caused by excessively hard water such as lime scale mineral deposits on tea kettles.

Easy Installation

Installation is simple and straightforward. The UC-200 is designed for direct connection to the main kitchen sink cold water line. No countertop drilling is required, and an extra filter dispenser faucet is not needed. Installation video tutorial instructions are available to guide you through the process. Additionally, CuZn technical support is available to assist with non-standard undercounter plumbing connection issues or to provide any additional adapters needed to ensure a successful installation.

3-Stage Filtration Process

The UC-200 features a 3-stage filtration process utilizing micro-sediment membranes, KDF-55, and coconut shell carbon. This process effectively purifies water without reducing the health-beneficial mineral content. TDS or PPM type meter readings will show the same results for both filtered and unfiltered water, ensuring that you keep the beneficial minerals in your water.

Bacteriostatic and Non-Additive

Unlike carbon-only filters, the UC-200 is bacteriostatic and not susceptible to mold or bacteria growth. To test the effectiveness of the filter, use DPD #1 chlorine test strips. Replace the filter when chlorine is detected in the filtered water. Sensitive test strips that test down to 0.25 or 0.5 ppm are ideal for detecting chlorine as early as possible.

If you are unable to complete your installation for any reason, or if you wish to install the filter using an alternative method, such as connecting to a dedicated filtered water dispenser faucet purchased separately, simply contact CuZn tech support through Amazon buyer-seller messaging.
